Transforming Food Systems By Changing How We Collaborate And Shifting The Social Context From Which Action Emerges
About the Project
Collective Impact Programme (CIP) is a pilot project initiated by the Social Gastronomy Movement. “Within the Social Gastronomy Movement (SGM) there are members who go beyond their individual and organizational boundaries to promote connection and collaboration. SG- CIP supports Host Teams of three or more people and/or organizations who cultivate diverse, cross-sector Food Collaboratives. Multi-stakeholder Action Teams emerge from these collaboratives to transform systems and accelerate action towards food security and equitable food systems.
Over twelve months, each host team builds connections and organizes community dialogues with food system stakeholders from their communities, generating momentum towards convening a local CIP Plenum event. A key outcome of the CIP Plenum is the emergence of multi-stakeholder action teams that work towards shared goals of increasing food security and equity in their local food systems.
